Welcome To Austria, The 1-Year Anniversary Of This Newsletter! 📍
It was June 23, 2025 that I launched this Stat Pack newsletter and I am amazed at the growth since then. What started as a small passion project has now racked up over 2500 subscribers & nearly 100,000 total views. Along the way, I’ve jinxed almost every driver & had a prayer circle for a few. Regardless, I hope you appreciate the effort & massive time investment that goes into making this all possible. I take great pride in the fact that I’ve never missed a single race.
On a bittersweet note, I am unsure if there will be an edition for Silverstone due to a personal matter that involves a sick loved one.
Thank you for reading. I truly believe there is no better place to find Formula 1 stats than right here.

5 of Russell’s 6 wins have seen him start from 1st on the grid with the lone exception being 3rd in Austria 2024

Great summary.
One thing I find particularly interesting about the Austrian Grand Prix is how the circuit's history mirrors the evolution of Formula 1 itself. From the fast and intimidating Österreichring to the modern Red Bull Ring, the venue has gone through several reinventions while remaining one of the most recognizable stops on the calendar.
What makes it even more unique is that today it's not just a race track but the center of the wider Spielberg project, which has turned a small region of Austria into a year-round motorsport and tourism destination.
It's a good reminder that some circuits are no longer just venues — they've become brands in their own right.
